Week 4 Part B: Defining YOUR Target Market Business Name-Manley's Dragons and Exotics This will be a fake business for this class but it is a business that I am hoping to start in the future with my fiance. As this is a fake business it currently has no social media presence at the moment.  My target market will be family's with young children and the millennial generation, this is because parent's with children are more likely to purchase a pet for their child. And younger people in general are more likely to purchase an exotic pet, since my business might also include selling Tarantula's there is also a chance for older customers. Since this business will be conducted only online, my main goal for targeting people in this market would be to join reptile groups as these groups are what people turn to when buying new reptiles from new merchants. Being able to be successful in my target market means that advertising to the right market is crucial as reptiles are still
Week 4 Part A: Defining Target Markets For this assignment, I chose to go with Set Two because Subway being a national franchised brand and Hungry Bear being a local sandwich shop I thought that it would give me the best representation for target markets. How does a business that is around the United States target so many different people. whereas how does a local business inspire others to eat there as opposed elsewhere? Subway Right away on their homepage at the top, Subway has advertised what they are doing to keep local communities safe during Covid-19. When we think of Subway in general the first thing that comes to mind is eating fresh and healthy food which is made clear from their home screen advertisement. They have several different plans that include animal welfare, responsible sourcing and deforestation listed on their commitment page, it is clear that they are involved in many different ways with clear set time frames to accomplish each one. On their menu, they have sand
Week 3 Part B: Developing a Brand For this assignment, as I do not currently operate a business I will be answering the questions for a fictitious business. It has always been an interest for me to work with animals, shortly after my fiance and I got together I discovered a love for reptiles and an interest in breeding them and sharing this interest with others. While this is still a newer industry, there is only a few reptile stores that are deemed as doing legit business online and the rest either sell sick animals or do not send your purchase at all. Owning a reptile may not be as rewarding as having a dog or a cat but I want to educate people on why owning reptile's is not only beneficial but rewarding in it's own way. My goal for this business was always for it to be a family-owned business that will be ran by my fiance and myself. We have already discussed potential name's for our future business and have come up with Manley's Dragon's & Exotics, so the
Week 3 Part A: Aesthetics, Design, and Branding A good website is critical for a businesses success, in this assignment we were asked to give feedback regarding 4 different websites below is my feedback. Jami Lin's Passions The first website that I looked at was  Jami Lin's Passions , upon first glance we are met with an extremely confusing website. We have no idea what this website is selling and the homepage is over filled with clutter. The amount of clutter is overwhelming, it appears this website for for anti aging cream but it also has tabs for interior design and fend shui. This website gives no indication that it is professionally done as it appears that the person that made the page tried to cram as much information into the homepage as they were able to. There is a sense of irony that the page advertises interior design and has such a flawed home page, to make the site better the first thing that needs to be done is to focus on what they are trying to promote. If the

Week 2 Part A: Blog Post Social media has paved the way for businesses of all kinds, ranging from large well known businesses to small mom and pop shops the ability to gain a following online.  Before the time of social media if there was an issue with a specific business your only choice was to call their toll free number, send them an email or to mail them a letter. Just recently, my fiance made a purchase online and was concerned about where his product was as he had not received a confirmation email. My initial thought was to check their website to see what options were given to contact them which was to send them an email. Not wanting to wait I happened to see that their website mentioned they were on FaceBook and I was able to directly message them on messenger and they responded promptly and resolved my issue within 30 minutes.  Personally, I have never commented on a product on social media but I have commented on a business which was Wal-Mart. When sharing a comment on socia
